EU Centre Resource Kit

Lesson Plans for Teachers by Teachers!

Teachers who wish to incorporate European Studies and promote an interest current affairs in their classes can now turn to “EdUcating for Peace and Cooperation”, a resource kit developed by the teachers for teachers. The kit contains suggested lesson plans, possible projects, assignments, and more materials. It is particularly useful for those teaching subjects such as the General Paper, History, Economics, Geography or English to educate students on how the EU’s policies are relevant to Singapore and the region, and how the EU and ASEAN cooperates in economic competitiveness, foreign and security policy, and work together to resolve climate change and other global challenges. The kit, containing 4 lesson plans, was assembled from the first EU Centre workshop for teachers conducted on 29 July 2009.
