About the Centre

The EU Centre in Singapore aims to promote knowledge & understanding of the European Union, its institutions, policies, and impact on Singapore and the region. We work with different partners to raise the awareness of the EU, its relationship with Asia and its global role through various events, research and policy briefs. The activities of the EU Centre are funded by the European Commission and the two hosting universities– NUS and NTU.

RESEARCH

This section highlights the research outputs of the EU Centre including published works, policy briefs and conference reports. The “Publications” section highlights works by Centre staff and associated academicians that have been published in refereed journals, edited collections and by established think-tanks. “Policy Briefs” present concise analyses of issues and topics of contemporary significance, while “Conference Reports” capture papers and proceedings from the EU Centre’s major events. In “Commentary”, we will post working papers, as well as thoughts and opinion pieces by our research faculty, fellows and interns. We welcome you to contact our Centre Director should you be interested in discussing collaborative opportunities or co-contributing a paper.
