About the Centre

The EU Centre in Singapore aims to promote knowledge & understanding of the European Union, its institutions, policies, and impact on Singapore and the region. We work with different partners to raise the awareness of the EU, its relationship with Asia and its global role through various events, research and policy briefs. The activities of the EU Centre are funded by the European Commission and the two hosting universities– NUS and NTU.

RESOURCE

The resource section aims to be useful to both researchers and new students to European Studies. In Commentary, we provide a forum, including by guest writers, to reflect on current affairs and recent developments of the EU. We will review and highlight interesting publications and books under “Reviews”. The Useful Picks sub-section will scour the internet for the most fascinating and content rich websites which warrant your ‘bookmarking’. The official EU websites themselves are a rich resource, albeit on an expansive scale. Hence we will feature and highlight the best of what would be useful to a general audience and younger students and point the way for them to discover more aspects of the European Union.
